My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Most soapstone - Marianus for example - will go kind of gray if you don't regularly oil it. This batch from Brazil is actually green when it is "oiled up" with mineral oil. The owner likes to just let it go and then it looks like this.

      Love, love the kitchen island with the soapstone. Well done! Do you by chance remember the name of the particular soapstone used? Was is oiled or allowed to age and patina naturally without the oil/wax?
