My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

'Cool Grandma' update ...

.. but this time it's not my accomplishment.

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm going to be a grandmother again. Older DD's second baby is due in June, and 8yo grandson is very happy to be a big brother.

They are still living with me, and seem to have no plans to move on. DD and SIL have been busy redoing the upstairs half-bath and removing wallpaper and painting the study and hallway.

Having a baby in the house again will be lovely, but it will be bittersweet because this little one will have no memories of his/her wonderful grandfather. However, he/she will hear lots of stories and see lots of pictures. And will be loved!
