I LOVE it! If I ever do my kitchen, that's the stone I want. It is harder to care for, but if your perimeter is going to be soapstone, you can try to keep the acidic foods there, rather than on your island. The Super White is harder than marble, but in my experience, that just means it's harder for the fabricator to work with than marble is. It still scratches and stains, so be sure to keep it as clean as possible. Honing will certainly help to hide the scratches and any etching that occurs.

I have honed white princess quartzite and love it. It is MUCH easier to take care of than marble (have had marble bath counters and kitchen floors), I have had no problems with staining. It is definitely a harder surface than marble.

Quartzite is not a marble, it is quartzite. That's like comparing a wolf to a fox and calling them the same animal. It is harder than granite (which is harder than marble) but can still scratch. Will need to be properly sealed for maintenance.

Hi ,, So its called calcite ,,, real name is shadow storm ,, the cosmos in Chicago also tries to sell as quartzite ,,, If you look on the side of the slabs you will see orange paint with blue ,,,they buy from a company named Direct slabs ,,,, Its nice but really soft ,,,,Here is pic of real true super white with no resin !!!! do you know the difference between resined and unresined slabs ?
