Planning on replacing fan with mid century modern fixture. The table/rug will not fit going horizontal against the four windows. It has to stay vertical. Fixture suggestions are welcome as well. Thank you.

What a fun space for the family!

I don't think you need a rug for the dining area. How about a sofa table and extra chairs behind the sofa?

I'd get a larger dark green rug for the Masters seating. define the space with all four chairs on the rug.

I'd even consider painting that side wall a dark hunter green for a dark conversation area.

You still have that back wall white to bound around the natural light from the patio doors.

Spin the red Chief's rug so the other two chairs have at least the front legs on the rug so they are all part of the Red rug space.

Do you think of the dining table as casual dining, or do you need comfortable chairs for a larger crowd to sit during game day?

I don’t think it all has to tie together. There are distinct areas and it’s a really great welcoming space. I would get really comfy chairs for the table that someone could watch tv in too

I do not think that table should have any captains chairs but I do agree comfy for when you have a crowd
