It was a box kit from euroblooms. This will teach me to order from the big bulb companies.... But then I kinda like the surprise bulbs.

The bloom is beautiful. Easily as pretty as Susan.

lol nice bloom. i am on my second year of "Apple Blossom" myself. I have not actually gotten the flower on the box yet.

Thanks Carl I didn't give picotee a thought. It would be nice to keep the color and add that red picotee edge..... If it comes out that way. I think I'll try it.

Hi Louana, did you check out the emaryllis site? I had a similar Hippie last season, got it as a mislabel when I ordered a Picotee and I thought it might be Emanuelle. I had two of them, the second with more color but I think they were the same.

emaryllis lists bulbs that they have had problems identifying and mislabeled bulbs. I think there is a section on Susan.

Yes I did look at emaryllis and I agree Emanuelle does look like mine and yours. It did have a little fragrance. So maybe we have the same bulb. It rejected all the pollen I tried on it. I didn't try it's pollen on anything yet, but I put some in the freezer to play with in the spring when the bulbs in my greenhouse wake up. Thanks for posting your pictures to compare.
