My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The patio roof measures 24 feet wide, and projects 15' from the house. It is supported by concealed steel beams (you can see these beams in the photos taken at the kitchen). The ceiling is finished with clear red western cedar boards. Glad you like it!

    Hello, I'm curious how you finished the clear cedar ceiling planks! It's gorgeous. Was it a sealer only or also stain?

    Hi Kay, this project was completed some years ago. We are not 100% certain, but believe it was a clear sealer (no color added).
