First large designed garden, wanting advice!

So this is a rough outline of the garden I'll be planting this coming spring. I planned using square foot gardening, and some of the numbers are different than what I'll plant, but they appeared automatically and I wasn't sure how to change them. For example, I only intend to plant 4 onions/ sqft, not 16. I'm also thinking I can get 4 cucumbers/ sq ft from my research if I use a trellis.

To give you some bearings, the top of the garden is on the west side, with the tomatoes on the north.

I've already decided I think I should switch the corn with the beets/ lettuce to prevent blocking the sun. Additionally, The herb garden on the inner north side will be laid out a little differently, I haven't gotten that far yet. That whole box will be herbs though. I may intersperse some herbs in with other plants for pest repelling qualities as well, but I haven't decided that yet.

If this is hard to see it's basically:

Outer bottom box: Sweet potatoes, potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, cucumbers and garbanzo beans

Outer left box:spinach, kale, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes (same patch as above)

Outer top box will actually be: (same Spinach), peppers, corn, onions, celery, cabbage, cucumbers and bush beans

Outer right box: (same beans/cabbage), tomatoes, (same beans/cabbage)

Inner bottom box: melons, snap peas, cabbage (if I don't end up with enough strong cabbage plants that area may just be misc leftovers), sunflowers, herbs,

Inner left box: watermelons

Inner top box: watermelons, zucchini, peanuts, herbs

Inner right box: herbs

Middle box: beets and lettuce

This will be the first garden in our new home, so I haven't completely gotten a feel for the sun patterns and this may need tweaking come spring.

Is there anything you would move to optimize companion planting?
