My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Beware the Mistletoe

I feel a bit Grinch-like, but I couldn't resist posting this link:
Mistletoe makes merry at its host’s expense.

The classic mistletoe is European but there are native American mistletoes, Phoradendron species, which are also hemi-parasitic shrubs.

At least they don't seem to be hardy in New England so you can probably safely discard the used mistletoe kissing ball.
