Stars for Sgt Josh

I gave DGD's love (they burn up the road between Ft Bragg and Orlando) this quilt as a QOV for his service and sacrifice for helping to keep us free. The top was made in 2013 (you might remember) and has been worked on periodically since then and finished the day before Christmas this year. :-)

The actual QOV website has gotten so specific that I hesitate to even call it a QOV, although that is what it is. It's within their guidelines but I have not joined their group by sending them a check.

Just beautiful Sharon!

we have to be so grateful for all these young men who risk their lives for us. One of my grandsons was in Afghanistan for a tour and is now dealing with PTSD. In our Church at every Sunday Mass, we pray for all of them. The original prayer was for our troops wherever they were. I asked to have a line added which says "and for those who return wounded in body or spirit". I get goosebumps every time I hear it.
