hello! i found the site today, and read some great comments and suggestions - and i thought i'd bring you my dilemma: i am about to begin a major project, brought about by a severe need to buy new windows. some of the existing windows have condensation inside, and most do not stay up - and with a toddler and a new baby on the way, i feel like they are borderline dangerous to little fingers. when we priced the windows, the amount was high enough that we decided to wait 6 months, and then consider doing siding and windows together, since that will save over doing the 2 projects separately...

anyway, sorry this is so long... here's what i'm considering: stone (cultured, i think?) over the existing brick, new windows everywhere, including maybe swapping out the 3 to the left of the front door with one larger casement style window (not sure of the terminology), new siding (probably some of the shaker-style in front, maybe scallop in the peaked triangle), and possibly a new front door - maybe opening it wider for sidelights and perhaps a transom...

ok, i've thrown alot at you, and i do have a budget - i don't think i am going to be able to do all of the above - but maybe you can give me some ideas on what is a "must" - and help me prioritize...
