Jim Bishop Cabinets Read Before You Purchase

The photos speak for themselves. These pictures illustrate just two of 20+ issues we have with our "brand new" Jim Bishop Cabinets. The finish feels like sand paper. Paint quality is laughable. You can see how the cabinets are constructed. Drawers do not close, wood is warped and cracked. Customer service is nonexistent. We have called and written over and over and after a year we still do not have resolution. Unfortunately these are just the facts of our experience.

Well, yeah. They are pretty far down on the food chain when it comes to quality. Builders like cheap for a reason. Sorry they got your money, but there is plenty of info on the net for buyers if they search.

First of all - we did plenty of research.
Second of all - your comment reads as if everyone is aware Jim Bishop cabinets are crap. That is not the case. We believed we were getting quality based on reviews and research.

We brought Bishop 4 years ago, have 2 doors and the crown molding is warping in one area (not common to where the 2 doors are warping). The warranty is TWO years, I assumed lifetime warranty. We used a kitchen designer and brought them through her. She is held in very high regard in the Washington DC area, but she obviously was not out for our best interest. Do not purchase these cabinets.
