Remember: you did ask. So:

1. It needs art. I hope that's in your plans. It can be anything that pleases you.

2. The decorative pillows don't blend with the color tone in the coverlet - too pinkish. Either choose an olive (is that the coverlet color?) or a contrasting color (burnt orange, chocolate?).

3. I don't know what is causing the lighting effect on the wall, but it's distracting and dated. If it's deliberate, change it. If it's accidental, figure out what causes and change it.

4. Love the bed; it's classic. Would add a solid-color throw (your "nap blanket") across the end in a contrasting color.

5. The lamp is adorable but you're going to find it awkward to turn off once in bed because it's so low. If it can be moved to a dresser or the other bedside table that is barely seen (?), a taller lamp might work better. But that's all in what you're willing to put up with. Perhaps a pendant?

6. A rug that goes under the bed and shows on both sides (doesn't have to be so big as the whole bed, just the lower 1/2 to 2/3) in complimentary color/print (geometrics, stripes or Greek key patterns work with the coverlet pattern) will give the room texture and depth as well as a touch of lux.

7. Sheers are great, but they sort of leave a room with an "unfinished" look by themselves. I suggest adding draperies at either end, something shimmery like a faux Shantung silk to add texture. Cream or a deeper warm color would work well.

You've a great start, and your choices are good. All you need is tweaking, layering and accessorizing. Kudos for a neatly-made bed; it makes a huge difference. And you are showing only one section of the room, so this is limited to this aspect.
