I need help with my kitchen

yesterday

We are having our house remodeled and the kitchen cabinets and countertop are in place now. I can see the mistakes in choices I made, but too late for that. The dilemma I have is the over-the-kitchen-island light fixture. The island is 123" and the ceiling is sloped from 8' to 11.5'. Should I use multiple pendants or a 60" to 78" linear fixture? Should the fixture(s) be nickel or brushed gold? The bottom cabinets use a handleless gola design in gray or stainless (not sure what they call the color). The material on the cabinet is Lioher Como Ash 2. and the island is Como Ash 3. The top cabinets have little brushed nickel round knobs. The faucet is brushed nickel. Originally, we were looking for a countertop and backsplash with a light background and lots of drama. But we could not find anything that didn't clash with the floor, which is Novena Travertine tile. So, we ended up with Nilo River Granite. Unfortunately, I had already purchased the sink in white, not thinking about how it would look with the granite. Anyway, I was considering a brushed nickel light fixture, but the kitchen is calling for something warmer. I really don't know what to do. Can you help me?
