building on at 60 foot wide & 140 foot length property on a lake. Husband needs a 3 car garage & I need curb appeal. Set backs 5' on sides

How about side loading?

Rent a garage elsewhere. You only have 50feet to work with and you want to devote 30 of it to a garage. There is no way to make that look proportionate. It will be a GARAGEhouse.

Novice, do the math. It's not the 140 foot That is the width. It's 60foot wide.

Consult with an architect.

How about a two car garage from the street view with the outside bay double depth. We have friends with that arrangement and it is brilliant. Not only that, but they roughed in plumbing, gas heat and insulation in the back section so that it could be a separate suite with private entrance if needed in the future. And a 60' wide lot is huge! Lots of room for the two car curb view.
