Using Gray/Greige interior colors, cream cabinets, dark stained island and dark bronze lighting fixtures. Should I keep all metals the same dark finish throughout? It's a brand new house, not sure if mixing faucets, door knobs, cabinet knobs, etc. would look good.

I would prefer dark door knobs, but I'm seeing silver plumbing faucets, etc. in magazines now. Is oil-rubbed bronze a fading trend?
