KitchenAid appliance issues

Does anyone else have problems with their KitchenAid appliances? We purchased a microwave/wall oven, dishwasher, and cooktop in 2014. The microwave had to be repaired upon installation, the wall oven sounds like an airplane taking off while in operation. It's so loud I have to apologize to my guests, (it's been serviced twice, so far) and this week the top rack of the dishwasher crumbled and fell out. KitchenAid's response is to "put a note in my warranty file." Advice?

Thank you! I usually don't but in this case I will be getting them on all the appliances. I appreciate your input. My husband and I wanted made in America (in this case it's supposedly 85%) but looks like quality is not what is used to be. :(

We had the oven repaired 5 times. It is finally working as expected. We had bought the extended warranty on the oven, micro, dishwasher and frig. It's already paid for itself. The warranty company was ok to work with and I think if needs repair one more time they'll cut their losses and replace it. Have learned they have a formula for how many times they'll repair something before calling it quits. Moral of story... Don't give up. I can't say that I will buy kitchenaid again, tho.

Thank you for the info. That is terrible you have had to get the oven fixed so many times, once is bad enough. I already ordered them but definetely getting the extended warranty on them. They are so expensive, it's such a shame if they just look good and function so poorly. I don't blame you for not buying them again.

I have a Kitchen Aid double wall oven with convection in upper and lower oven. It was installed in September 2015, but I only used the upper oven for several months since my husband was diagnosed with cancer and we had to travel for treatment. Well, things resumed some semblance of normalcy so I was back home and wanted to cook using both ovens. Surprise! Bottom oven won't heat up to cooking temperature and displays an "Error" message. Also discovered top oven will not sustain temperature and my baked items won't rise properly. I have had three warranty service calls and nothing has been fixed. In fact, now the oven displays the error message even when neither oven is turned on. The company with the warranty contract only sent one repair technician, who decided he needed to remove the oven from the wall to fix it and asked if my husband was available to help lift this 250 lb. oven! We are calling the big box store again tomorrow to find a resolution. This particular oven, at least the specific one they sold me, is a lemon.
