(I know it's not straight

It needs to be above a wine bar. If you don't have one, sell the picture on Craig's List.

With wine glasses, in your cabinet, I think both will compliment each other and it helps to make the kitchen feel more personal.

I'm just a regular person, not an expert. But I think it looks okay. Perhaps it fights with the S a little though. It seems like perhaps the S is okay by itself, or the picture above the door, but not both? I don't think the picture is obviously great there or obviously awful there. That's my opinion.

The S is a cork holder if that helps? Just got it so its not quite full ;)

    Then, drink up! :)

I think its fine, if you straighten it, Its your home, if you like it, then thats what matters most!

Oh, the S and the picture tie in? I didn't realize. I'm not a wine drinker. : ) Basically, I think Carpet Mill USA has it right: if you like it, it's perfect! Your house should please you.

Due to my weird OCD, I'd probably hang it a little higher so there's even space between ceiling and door frame.

You really do not need anything up there. Your art/pictures should be at eye level. I think the picture is fine, just hang it where it can be seen and enjoyed.

Along with Susan's comment, please measure the space above the door at both ends, and then check with a level to make sure it's all plumb. If it is at all 'off', the picture will accentuate it. And, hang it higher. Then, have a glass of wine!

    Your fine!!!

Hang it a bit higher.....I think there should be more space below than above? Or dead centered!

Oh, such strong opinions! I can imagine places where it would be even better, but I like it above the door at about the current elevation, especially if there is about to be a cork sculpture right nearby. Hope you'll invite me by for a glass... :)

@maggys111 I honestly would like to get rid of it. However, it was a gift from my in-laws so I need to put it somewhere. I like the picture but this is not my ideal location since did not like where it was previously. I don't think it looks too bad there so I will probably keep it there for now.
Thank you all so much for the input! I just love posting on here for help and advice!

Invite the inlaws over for a glass of wine and let them see how much you enjoy their gift!!! Normally I like art lower so it can truly be easily enjoyed, but this particular piece of art does not have a lot of details to worry about and is why it does work where you placed it just fine.

Since it was a gift and no one really likes it, keep it up there. It probably won't even get noticed. :>)

I'd prop it on a shelf with wine bottles in front of it.

Honestly don't think you need anything above your door - not a fan of it
