I don't know if this is a lawn question, a tool shed question, or what.

We have a buried plastic corrugated drain that moves water from the corner of our house about 80' into the yard and down the slope.

I have created a brick enclosure that allows the water to leave the pipe but allows me to run the mower over the end.

My question concerns the water that is trapped in the rings of the pipe. Unless it is extremely dry there is always water in them. I know standing water attracts mosquitos, and would like to eliminate the standing water.

Since it is out of the question to remove the 80' of pipe, how much smooth pipe would I have to add to the drain, so that mosquito would not go in far enough to reach the standing water.

Or how far into the pipe will a mosquito go to find water to lay eggs
