I am about to order shower glass. My shower is 47” wide x 40”. Height is 83”.

The installer is specifying a 3/8" door, but giving me the option of 3/8" or 1/2" glass for the remainder.

I did my research and generally it seems to be a toss up, but there are some specific mentions of taller glass possibly requiring 1/2".

Any advice? Thanks!!!
