A sealer or wax will bring out the natural color of the concrete - each concrete floor is totally unique. We'd recommend doing a test area and seeing how your floor looks after applying products on the surface. Usually the natural sealers and waxes we use won't darken the concrete, but rather bring out the character, color and existing variations.

We attached a before/after picture where the concrete floor looks much lighter when it's untreated and raw, but after we finish the surface, you can see how the natural colors of the concrete really brighten up the space and the concrete comes to life. All concrete is unpredictable and reacts differently, so doing a test area will help decide if you like the natural color or would prefer staining the surface.
