Those are beautiful. Mine do not bloom until mid/late spring. Nice to see yours.

Yours is lovely, Lois! I had one blooming in a sheltered spot along the foundation at the end of December and into early January since we have had ridiculously unseasonably warm weather (into the 50's). We have finally had a couple of rounds of snow, though, so now it's buried. Most of my Hellebores don't bloom until April so I will be interested to see what this plant, which is new this year, does in more normal years.

Nice! Well they are called Lenten rose so posting to the rose forum is not completely off base.

My hellebore is blooming, and the temps are dropping to 16 degrees tonight. Any suggestions to help it survive the night? I covered it with a large plastic pot. Will that help?
