Normal-sized berries may appear when the bushes are more mature, many growers advise removal of blossoms on very young fruiting trees and bushes. Pruning out entire branches will not help you and removing every other fruiting cluster would be tedious. If you have a very heavy bloom next year, remove a percentage of blossoms. By year four, the quality of the fruit from these plants will be a better indicator of their fruiting potential.

These plants are a good 2-3 feet tall and wide.
