Recently closed on this house and ready to begin updating

Looking for paint colors. Idea is to keep it feeling light and airy. Have a charcoal couch. Carpet will get ripped out so open to ideas on the flooring too. Been poking around Houzz at pics and like whites, grays, blue and 'sage'. Thinking of sticking to whites/grays for the walls and incorporating the colors on the cabinets. There are two sets of cabinets - kitchen and eating areas. They are near each other and not sure if they should be same color or not? Oh, and the mirror wall - keep or ditch? (Furniture was sold with house-have our own.)
