I agree, it's a great home! I'm not sure regarding the shelf but I'll see if I can get someone from the design team to chime in.

We are not sure where the designer sourced that shelf from, but we tried to use as many details for this home that are authentic to the Mediterranean region as possible. For example, we custom designed the S-tile roof to look like old cap and pan, and the exterior stairs leading to a tower and bedroom reflect the add-on in-law quarters that many old European homes have. The warm color palette includes copper pieces, rough-sawn timbers and antiques to further accent old-world charm. Glad you appreciate the home!
