I love the idea of white of white cabs, and white appliances. I believe that people have tired of stainless steel, and it not as easy to clean. I think the SS hood would be perfectly fine! Think of matching that finish up with the door/cab pulls, and the sink hardware. It will be a hit! Good luck!

Hi ak1957am, I believe the stainless hood will look fine as well, but if that contrast bothers you, you may want to consider wrapping your hood in white cabinetry as well, so the entire hood is hidden and you get a more consistent look. Wishing you great results!

ak1957am: I am not a fan of white appliances with white cabinets. It all depends on the shade of the whites. Many times the whites are just enough different, both in shade and sheen, that I find it distracting. I would rather see a stainless or wood hood with an insert as Brink Custom Homes suggested. Most major manufacturers offer wood hoods these days. I would suggest you do a couple of Houzz photo searches using combinations like "white painted cabinetry with white appliances", "white painted cabinetry with wood hood", "white painted cabinetry with stainless hood". You should get thousands of examples to look over. Good Luck!

Actually the white of my kitchen cabinets will match just fine with the whiteness of appliances. I tested that combination already. There is no discourse.
