I´m traveling to Miami next month and I would like to see some lighting fixtures over there, maybe somewhere I could also get some professional advice, what do you recommend?

In Miami, there is a design district there. I would look up "Miami Design District" online and see what comes up. I am in San Francisco so I am not very familiar with Miami. You might also look up "professional lighting designers" online in Miami. There are so many fixtures available. It is important to really understand the technical specs required to get the effect you want, and then shop accordingly. Many times I have seen beautiful fixtures that don't really do the lighting job required. Honoring the technical requirements will give you everything you need.

We could build custom fixtures for you.
I would place lighting in between the spaces in the rafters.
You could add frosted acrylic to defuse light would look amazing.
You would not need a top as the leakage of light onto the ceiling would compliment the even glow of acrylic.
