I bought a house a few months ago and it has an odd layout; not the worst, but difficult for applying a backsplash. I know I want glass mosaic tile, and I have a general idea on color and pattern, but no idea where to start and stop beyond lining it up with the end of the cabinets.

1. Should I tile behind the fridge?
2. What about the side of the window, where there is bare wall?

On a side note, forgive the mess! New puppy.
