Big vanity counter top mistake! Just built new house and made a major mistake in selecting the color or vanity counter top in master bathroom.Short of removing the entire 2 bowl vanity top what can I do with the aid of accessories to mitigate the look that I am so disappointed in. Cabinets are white with a hazelnut glaze and the color I selected is a mocha shade.... Not enough contrast against the cabinets. Makes the vanity look 'washed out" almost faded. The vanity needed a much darker top to make it 'pop'. We are well over budget, top is already installed so will have to live with it a little while. It has turned what I considered my dream retirement home into a slight disappointment. Love everything else but am fixated on my error. Any ways to helpwith accessories to improve the look at least for a bit. Thanks.
