Do these lamps work?

Concerned that the lamps are a tad tall, or at least the one on the taller table in between the chairs. I love these lamps- I have been searching for months and think the finish is perfect. Love the airy design so it does not obstruct view to kitchen/living area. How do I know if they are too tall? Excuse graininess, had to take pictures while kids are asleep. Thank you!

Yes they are to tall...beautiful but look awkward... These lamps would be very nice in a bedroom...would provide perfect light for reading and would be balanced out by a high headboard.

yes... a bit tall but very well suited to the room otherwise. I think they are sofa table lamps. I would stick with the same gold tone.

I agree both are too tall. I would not put a lamp on the one between the two chairs. Looks like the chord would be laying on the floor, and the shade would still obstruct the view.

Lovely lamps, but a bit too tall. Will be harsh for the person sitting next to the lamp as the bulb will be exposed. I have shortened the lamp in this photo.

There are always antique gold lamps at HomeGoods.
