    I believe it received a couple of coats of enamel paint so that it wouldn't stain with condensation. Normally we'd put tile on the ceiling but that wouldn't have looked so good in this situation.

    How has the ceiling held up? I don't want to tile my ceiling but am feeling pressured into doing so. Tiling the ceiling will make the room look small. What brand of enamel paint did you use?

    this is exactly what i am interested to know. i am considering a solid surface or acrylic panel on the ceiling of the steam shower to blend in to the ceiling.
