Thanks for your question, I have done that fabric, which actually comes in many color ways, on several side chairs and never had an issue. Like you mentioned, it is a heavy use fabric and when it is upholstered it is pulled tightly so it has less of a casual appearance. Depending on the use of the chair for each client would help me determine if it would be one I would recommend for each particular space. Also, all fabric over time, especially if left in natural light, has the tendency to fade. I think it would definitely be worthwhile for you to come into one of our showrooms and see and feel the fabric in person!
