From the photo, I cannot see the actual ceiling height but in my opinion, the mirror behind the bed needs to be hung lower. It is a nice space and when others weigh in with their accent suggestions, it will turn into a gorgeous space that will give you much enjoyment.

What colors do you like? You have a very neutral room right now so you could do just about any color for pop. I think teal would look nice. Once you narrow down what color you want, Etsy has some nice pillows.

the ceiling is 10ft and I agree w the mirror! hubs was being proactive and hung it while I was gone!!

my colors are gray, silver and cream. I love pink, black and white. we plan on painting... gray of course but at a loss w curtains. look at these windows I have covered up (temp of course until I can find curtains for the windows by the bed)

How about this? Paint the bed wall the color of the headboard. If you love pink, just do hints of pink. For instance, a pink tray under each lamp and a pink pillow or pink bench at the foot of the bed. In this photo, imagine the yellow trays the pink you love, but the bed wall the charcoal color. Then, to have your pink trio, a pillow of pink/gray on the bed.

er612 yes!! a pink coverlet/quilt would give me the pop of color and the pink accents sound perfect. funny. never thought of pink being the color until I was asked my favorite colors! thank you all!!!

Darzy I love the pink accents. I've ordered a fuchsia throw and purchased a cream coverlet. I do love the pink quilts... I have been pondering on the quilts and maybe do pillows pink.
