Hello. My husband and i are diy-ing or whole kitchen. We started at the end of october. And all we have done is gut everything except the walls. And have done almost all of the electrical. We only work on the kitchen every other week at best for an hour or two. We live in mi and since we have no ceiling in the kitchen right now its FREEZING. im getting really irritated at the whole situation. My husband is the muscle for this project. But he procrastinates everything. So im wondering for those of you who have had your kitchen done professionally. How long did it take and what did it cost you. And id like to hear mostly answers from those with similar size kitchens i guess? Ill post a pic of where were at. I have the cabinets already. Rta. And i bought our solid surface countertop slabs. Of which one piece thats too big is outside ontop of the pallet it came on covered up. But thats another concern is since its acrylic im wondering if its going to crack and what not. Husband just does not seem to care. So our kitchen is 10x 11 or will be. As a whole adjoined with dining area its 11x19.4. I have backsplash. Hardware. Flooring picked out. I have my light fixtures already the pictures are below.
