I guess my only comment is....do you need the bookshelf in that room? Or Could you put it on the right side of the fireplace?. Do you have a console behind your couch (you have a lamp on something so am assuming it is a console) Could you take it away and put your couch back farther...use end table for the lamp. Then put .a floor lamp beside your couch and on the other end a table/lamp. With tables beside your furniture, you probably don't need a coffee table....especially with the ottoman by the chair.

1. Put the bookcase where your Moët print is and move the print so it is behind the chair in the corner. Add floor lamp and plant. Add rustic looking small table to other side of chair.
2. Move your mirror over console by door.
3. Put abstract over fireplace.
4. Put end table and lamp next to sofa on fireplace side.
5. Leave console behind sofa.
6. Put curtains back up. Really should have wider rod so edge of panel just covers edge of window. May want to add red tie back to tie in rug.
7. Consider large round ottoman with tray top.

I LOVE your style and choice of rug and décor! I agree with possibly moving the bookcase. I would not put your old curtains back up. Instead, I would buy white or off-white curtains in a crisp cotton. Extend the curtain rod (if you can) or buy a longer one. You can hang your curtains against the wall instead of covering up any of the window. If you need privacy, buy sheers to put underneath the curtains and draw them when you need to. If you decide to get a coffee table, perhaps consider a glass and oil-rubbed bronze or black one. (See Pottery Barn "tanner" tables for examples!) Your room is beautiful and one I'd love to spend time in!
