No dilemmas... Just advice. May still do a mirror and skip the desk.

A large round mirror would be fabulous, over 42" diameter. Uttermost has several but be sure it is large enough (outside dimension). A vertical piece of art or 2 photo's placed one above the other (16"x20") frame size, or a poster art kind of thing would be good over the desk. A decorative memo board could also work. Drapery panels on the window would soften the look.

I know the Lourosa mirror and it is not large enough.

I'm concerned about the tone of the metallic lamps with the gold mirror. Are they staying? They have their wrapping.

I like the gold with the silver metallic lamps but that is maybe just me?

I think I am keeping the lamps. Doreen love your ideas. Decorative memo Board would be different. The drapes and blinds are next! I'll take your thoughts on that too:)

Do the lamps come in gold?

Not that I saw but I am only looking in homegoods Marshall's right now. Can see if there is q blended lamp of gold and silved.

Uttermost Entwined is a good choice for a mirror.

Lamps do not all have to match each other.

I believe the mercury glass on the lamps has a gold tone. I am not concerned. I mix metals all the time.

Love, love your bedding! I would definitely add a mirror to the dressing table, so that area can be well used. I would make it fun and an old fashioned tri-fold would be lovely. I think two mirrors in a room are fine as long as they feel connected and I could see a more delicate mirror over the dresser to suit the other, but with an interesting metal frame that compliments the lamps. Your room would feel like a beautiful jewellery box!

Yes! As long as mirror is not facing room entry (bad fenq Sui); otherwise, yes!

Yes to mirror. But, I think two matching lamps make it look more like a buffet than a dresser. Beautiful view out the window.

Ok so my heart is set on this mirror over the dresser! Do you all agree this will work? I will then also return the lamps and got for just one chunky lamp so it doesn't look so buffet like.

Doreen, the dresser is 74 inches wide. The 40 inch hammered gold quatrefoil wall mirror won't be good in size? It seems like it's tremendous. In size against the dresserThese are the three I'm loving right now but like the hammered gold the best.

If it is the Uttermost mirror I have ordered it for a client. It is not actually 40". This is an error. I believe it was 34". How tall are the ceilings? If they are 8' it will be large enough. In my clients case we were putting it above a sideboard on a wall with a 18' ceiling and it was too small. We liked the mirror so this was disappointing. In your case I would mount it about 9" above the dresser if you have an 8' ceiling.

Hi, Colleen. Obviously this idea is late to the show, but when I looked at the photo, my immediate thought was why not an unframed mirror? A large horizontal frameless mirror above the dresser would look great, in my opinion. Or a vertical mount might work, too, when factoring in the lamps.

Ok so I'm now seeing the size difference but not sure the size is the game changer at this point seeing the colors of each. The 40 inch hammered gold quatrefoil has more silver than the uttermost which is 36x36 and more gold in color. If my walls are edgecomb grey and my lamps have more silver tones does one mirror work better? My comforter has beige cream and green blue color in it. Can I do the hammered gold style in my room? It just catches my eye but worry it may be too much?

Found this mirror today that measures quite life and big enough for the dresser. Would this work?

That one is in question for over the desk in my room. It's too small for the dresser at 33 in wide.

This mirror is too large. Also very spanish feeling. Not transitional like the Entwine. I am OK with the other curved one. Don't see a name or number to describe it. They call it extra large curved square.

This is the link to the Extra Large Curved Square Mirror which I do like alot. I think the shape is what I am liking. This one does appear more subtle. The other option is the Entwind Uttermost. Would you Doreen have any pictures of Entwind mirror in a room? I am reading it has some dark masculine color to it.
