My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    It was custom-mixed on the job. We started with Sherwin Williams "North Star" and then played with the color by adding tints until we got it so that it suited the homeowner.

      Everyone loves this! We custom-mixed the cold until it matched a piece of fabric and we all liked the color. I don't have the formula and there is no color name since we mixed it on site. Sorry!!

      Custom mixed color always looks better because stock paints usually have 2-3 colors of tint added and a custom color might have 4-5 different tint colors in it. It makes for a more complex color that you can't quite put your finger on. Pick a stock color from the paint store chips then have the guy behind the counter add a drop at a time of other tints until you get the color right. It can take hours, but the color will be so much more interesting. Or hire a painter who has paint tints on his truck and can alter the color on site. When you get it the way you like it, take the new formula to the paint store and have it mixed in the amount you need.
