Uh...WOW!!!!!!!

Seriously drool worthy hostas, and fantastic photography, I hope they make it to market soon.

Thanks for bringing this here. What a huge, colorful leaf King of Buchanan has. Lots of nice ones!

Some Like It Hot is going on my wish list now! I can wait.

Kathy

Isn't Dan Wols our very own "Dans garden"? Remember those jaw-dropping-gorgeous hybrids of his last year that had all of us gasping over them? My gut says that this is the very same man.

Guacamole Don, what do you think?

I WANT that Marilyn Monroe seedling!!!!! Simply and undeniably stunningly exquisite. A fine array of First Look hostas.

You are correct Jo, that be him, that one is just beautiful and I want it too!

If you do facebook you should find him and see some more of his other million stunning seedlings.

It is just gorgeous! I must be greedy because I would take any or all!

Thanks for sharing this.

DROOL. And again, DROOL.

Hubba Hubba, ding ding! I hear you, Laurie, I'd buy 'em all too!

Thanks, Dennis! I hear through the grapevine that some of Dan's plants will be available for sale in the near future. (I unsubscribed from Facebook). If I can get my hands on ANY of them, I'll consider myself very fortunate!

King of Buchanan is AWESOME! And Jo, I'm with you; absolutely MUST HAVE that Marilyn Monroe cross seedling! I'm seriously in love with Valor, too!

That's cool about Dan Wols being our fellow member, Dan's Garden.

I'll take any one of them! Well, actually, I would prefer having ALL of them! LOL Absolutely beautiful assortment of colors, leaf shapes, size and flowers.

Those are some fantastic hostas. Can't wait for some of them to be available.

The first one in the 2nd row (Christmas collage) is a pic I saved from when you posted last year. I couldn't and still can't get it out of my head. I hope that one makes it into TC !!!

Dan, congratulations on the success of getting your H. 'Skywriter' into TC with Naylor!!! Wow! You must be very excited about its positive progress as I'm sure so many of us are! :D

Dan...

Skywriter is certainly a looker...

Congrats! Hope the TC process continues to run smoothly.

BC

First collage, 2nd row down, the first two on the left.

I demand you go outside and rip them out of the ground and mail them to me.....I'll send you 5 bucks....

Well, I'm going to buy a H. 'Skywriter' that's for sure.

And I'll be waiting...and waiting.....and waiting...waaaaaahhhhh

Thanks, sunnywood, Josephine, bc, and Don. 'Skywriter' is the one I am most excited about. It is fertile both ways as well, and I already have some seedlings from it that I think have promise. Excited to see what the next generations bring :) Appreciate the positive response!

dan

I want them all!! $ 15k? Wow!

It is amazing what you can find in sports and what Dan and Jeff Miller, plus others can create!

Great slide show . This photo is appropriate for our spring hosta budget ( photo from Dave's garden newsletter) If we got all the hosta we wanted or NEEDED

LOL! Oh, if only, almosthooked.

Just some eye candy for our fall look while we relax until spring Love the Skywriter Dan. I can see why you are more then excited. It is a beauty,

Faye

Those hostas are amazing. Thanks for bumping it up.

I just had to go through the slide show one more time and #4 and #10 picture is Dan's and if the one besides Skywriter becomes available, it will be another I will have to make room for once he has it on the market . What are you naming it Dan?

When does the auction begin for 2017. I know I looked at a facebook post awhile back that had the dates but forget now..should be in the next few weeks right?

January 14-28. A link to the information won't be available until after the first. If you have something to donate or otherwise want to be on a mailing list contact dedean@q.com. That's all I know for now. I will be shopping for seed this year. When I know more I will start a thread.
