My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Thinking about adding some extra lighting......

will light from CFLs be beneficial to the plants? I'm thinking about doing a simple set-up for a few phals and paphs. I have one of those five armed floor lamps stashed in a closet and hubby also has several clamp on lamps. How long do you extend your light hours?

    Sheila,

    I run my indoor lights for @16 hours. I turn it back to @13 in fall and slowly work it back to 16 over the next 3 months. The time change is an attempt to try and mimic nature.
