We ripped the bidet out...the whole idea of dirty water splashing all around...yuk. I don't mean to offend, but we do have toilet paper in the supermarkets and if toilet paper doesn't solve the problem, get into the shower. European in design, maybe paper and hot showers weren't as available?

We are renovating and doing a Japanese toilet. All in one. Saves space and money. Toto has a washlet. Google NYT and Japanese toilet. Completely sold us.

We have Toto toilet with Zoe washlet for 17 years and we love it. We bought a house and remodeling it now. To get or not to get a toilet like we have now wasn't even a question it's an nessesety. You can get one with different options. It's costly, but worth every penny.

Having a separate bidet is a space waster and might be a wth moment for buyers later. Having said that, I really like mine in my master bath, but it's add-on that I can be removed at any time. Dirty water huh? It has a self cleaning feature and a splash guard.
