Are there any filament bulbs that will shed a bright enough light for reading or writing? I've learned that the lumens of filament bulbs are a lot lower than those of standard incandescent bulbs even when the wattage is the same. The brightest filament bulb I've been able to find is 60 watts, which translates into slightly more light than a 25-watt standard incandescent bulb. I'd like dimmable bulbs for a dining room chandelier that I can use on low for meals and on high for taxes! Thanks in advance for any advice you can share.
