Just to clarify, you are looking for plants, not seeds. Correct? If so then you should check around local nurseries in the spring to see what you can find. Even big box stores should have a few heirloom plants. I don't have suggestions for places to buy plants online.

You need to specify your climate and the diseases prevalent in your area. I like Russian heirlooms because they deal with cold well. If you live in the south, you might be looking for something that stands up to heat.
