How high is the island? How high is the table?

Can you provide dimensions of the island and table? Also - how is the table attached to the island? Would it be feasible to use quartz instead of wood for a table in that style?

The island is 36" high, table 29" high, island is 4'-0" wide x 5'-7.5" long, table is 3'-6" wide x 5'-8" long. Table is attached with hidden fasteners probably from the island side by the custom cabinetmaker. Quartz is a good alternative for the table top - we just felt the warmth of wood at the breakfast table was a good thing - walnut holds up really well to the wear and tear of daily life.
