Rug is too small, so slide the entire sectional left to near the window, the chaise will hide the exposed flooring, lose the blue granny chair to another room , and add the accent chair to the other side by fire.

Do a drawing of the space, measure ALL of it and add those dimensions to a drawing you upload as a jepeg, Show the preceding area we can not see in your picture,

It's not the ideal as is, but to BETTER it means a plan, and a plan needs the feet and inches of every wall, window, door, fire...etc
