3D renderings can range from about $200 to much higher all depending on the quality of the image and also how much detail you'd like to have included. Give me a call if you'd like to review your options.

Instead of hiring someone to do your renderings, why not download SketchUP 3-D which is a VERY simplistic rendering software and plop in your own measurements of the spaces necessary and see what it looks like based on your design style, etc. This would be more accurate than a PDF since the draft sketch could be different from the actual real time space you live in. If it was a good designer, they would ask for field measurements anyway...so why not save some green and DIY it. ;)

3d visualization is one of the most crucial steps for building a house. The prices really depends of the quality that its company is offering and the detail of the house. Prices in the most cases are charged per image (rendering).

I agree with the above said, there is nothing beats seeing your design come to life in a 3d environment and not only building a house, this helps with any project, because you being able to make changes ahead of time before you order a kitchen or a piece of furniture, remodel a basement or a deck, etc.... Being able to envision your project, makes up a every good design and makes any remodeling project and construction progress to go more smoothly.

Working off the plan or a sketch, or placing a few 3-5" samples of granite against one cabinet door, etc it is impossible to envision the entire setting and how everything else will look. Also, for many people, it is very hard to envision details from a 2D drawing, what it will look when it will be finished, etc and when you able to see your 2D drawing in a 3D reality, you actually see the things you might not like, things you might want to change or move, etc and it is much easier and faster to do that before, than to make change after the fact and at the same time you can pass that information to your contractor with the actual 3d Drawing or 3D model this way everyone is on the same page.

Since I started providing 3D rendering and 3D modeling services to local Homeowners, Contractors, Builders, Real estate agents, etc I have had great success locally and now with the technology available at the fingertips I can provide this services all over the country and have had a great success doing it online and people simply love it, because it is a great benefit to them... and I believe the real reason why so many benefit from this service, is because before you order anything, or before you start any project from a 2D drawing, you already know exactly what it will look like, and in many cases you avoid situations where you have to make a fast decision under pressure not to delay something, and after you do make a decision, you still wondering not knowing what the outcome will be and how it will look or will it effect anything.

Just like buying a house, you look at it from every angle, you look inside, you see what you don't like if you stand near a sink, you see what you don't like when you enter the house or enter a room, etc and within seconds you can move something or add something and see the difference... So when you able to envision things, making a decision becomes an easy task.
