Mauve, beige, off-pink, maybe sautari?

Hi! I recently got this, unnamed as usual.

Here are the blooms:

They get pretty flat.

Nice spirals:

The same 2 blooms, a day after, a little more opened.

The reverse is orchid pink.

It's well-scented, but not too heavily, you have to get near.

The prickles are well-away from the flowers, and look like this:

I forgot to take more detailed pics of the foliage, but it's quite generic-HT in shape; you can see in some of the bloom pics that it is quite dark and leathery (Not much in the second one, that's actually Hot Cocoa).

It very likely has RMV too, you cannot swerve that here...

Any help is much appreciated!

It's gorgeous! It has the coloring of KOKO LOCO, but maybe more petals than KL. I don't think it's a floribunda tho. Looks more like a hybrid tea. It looks a lot like one of the florist roses called BLUE GIRL. It's not the same rose as the BLUE GIRL most people are familiar with. Sharlene (Sutekesh) has some photos of it that look similar. Being that you're in Mexico, you probably get roses that we in the USA can't get. Whatever it is, it's absolutely gorgeous!! But then, I love the oddball colored roses.

Yes! I too thought of those two!, but I can't decide which looks more like it. I agree that it seems more like an HT, but Koko Loco isn't too sloppy-shaped in hmf pics...

I had seen Sharlene's post, and that's actually how I became familiar with the other Blue Girl/Sautari, since, like you say, it isn't available in the US, I thought it would be the same here, which was why I was all excited when I first saw them in the greenhouse, there were several of them, and I instantly thought of that post.

Well, I wish I knew were these roses come from, I used to think they were from the US, and the people that sell them are just as clueless (actually, maybe even more so).

Some people on hmf call KL "thorny"; this has most of it's thorns in lower canes, so if Blue Girl is lighter on thorns, maybe that's a clue. In some hmf pics they look thick, whereas the one's this has seem needle-like, as you can see.

Still, as for the the form and colors, it could be either,

And Blue Girl does too, I think the trick will be to see how much it varies in colors in different weather, Koko Loko seems more variable, with more darker "paper bag" tones at times, whilst Blue Girl seems to be more consistently mauve with just a tinge of light cream-tan in the inner petals.

If I could, I would definitely share a cutting with you, but that would probably not be possible with customs and all... I too am a fan of every rose unusually colored!

Oh I would love a cutting from you if it were BLUE GIRL. But yeah, CA is tough on plants entering. Not gonna happen. Oh well. I seriously think it's going to be BG. As you mentioned KL gets the more paper bag brown color. And if your plant grows taller and more upright, then that would also indicate BG. KL, at least for me, grows short and wide. Whichever it is.. it's a real beauty!
