Do I Need to Soak The Seeds or Cover Them and Can I Sow Now For House Plants?

I never soak seeds and if I am in doubt about covering, I generally go for a fine grit covering. They should germinate quite readily - why not do a Deno test with moist paper towels.

I'm curious as to your reasons for growing this, ninecrow. I know from your other posts that you are interested in the Christmas poinsettias, but this one is an undistinguished annual with invasive weed status in much of the world. What's the attraction?

Floral, I've Heard That They Will Cross Pollinate With Poinsettias So Wanted to Try it..........
