OK, but my mix is actually Miracle Gro potting mix plus perlite. I use extra perlite because I am now recently trying wicking and I find in my climate it's does great.

OK when I separate mine I did not place them in bags, but you could keep them for like 2-3 weeks than slowly get them use to being outside by opening the bag a little at a time each day until you totally open it. This way they don't go into shock. Use like a period of five days to gradually open the bag.

I second Velleta. Plus - you can use a transparent container - like an angel cake bottom and lid - to give them a week of high humidity - before exposing them to the outside world. You can use a transparent shoe box. Rubbermaid crate...as long as it is transparent, you can throw a lightly moistened rug on the bottom - and let them sit under the lid with light coming - so the babies can grow some roots.

I make sure that my soil is barely moist, I put a barely moist mat on the bottom - and close the lid. Usually a week is enough - then you can crack the lid. More - they start growing roots from all over the place. I prefer high domes -
