Also Joan, you want to make sure you don't actually post duplicates or triplicates of the same question. I mention that because I actually see this particular question seems to be posted twice worded it differently. Having duplicates of the same dilemma just causes confusion and frustration for everyone involved, so try to make sure you don't do that. Sometimes it happens because a poster will think that their post didn't work and so they try and do it again and again but in fact it did work the first time

Yes, I did post again because after getting 1 comment that came in fast my post went "to the bottom" and I got no more replies so I reworded it. I guess what I'm trying to ask is: After I post, and after the post gets "buried," how do I find my original post, make a comment, and get it to the top again? Yesterday I went to "Activity" in my account, found the reply made by 1 person, commented by asking him another question and posting it, but I still did not see my question move to the top again. I must not be "bumping" correctly but don't know how else to do it. Please tell me what I'm doing incorrectly here. Thanks so much.

It sounds like you did everything correct. I also always bookmark my dilemma is so that they automatically show up in my updates. It's easier than trying to find them from the activity. What exactly is your dilemma aside from asking this? Because maybe there's a problem with the way you post your questions.
Also, don't worry that your dilemma has to be right at the top to be noticed but if it has been a while And no one has commented then it's worth trying the bump

And I assume if you're posting a question about your home, that you're doing it in the right section which is the design dilemma section.

So I just checked your activity Joan, and it looks like you didn't have any pictures with your posts. That's already going to automatically decrease the amount of interest in your question. And try make sure the first picture you post is a really good one of the space because that's the one that's going to be seen in the list of dilemmas! It's crowded out there you've got to make sure your story in question stands out! You've got to sell it!

This was my original post to which I received one response. "I'm not sure what to do with a first-floor powder room. Our new townhouse has crown molding in the 2-story foyer and hallway, great room and master on the first floor. However, because the first-floor powder room has a curved wall, is small, and being done in a craftsman style, I'm not sure whether to put crown molding. The ceiling is 9 feet. Floor is a multi-colored but deep colored slate with a craftsman-style vanity (medium brown), black granite top, white sink and toilet. I don't know if the molding at the ceiling will make it seem even smaller, or, if we omit the molding will make it seem unfinished since everything else has molding. Would appreciate advice."

We crossed posts. But see my comments. Pictures really good ones will make a huge difference. It might be worth starting a new dilemma in this case but take some time to choose your pictures and I'm sure you'll get more interest

I don't know if you're using the app or the computer but on the computer anything will automatically show up in your feed. On the app if you click on your updates you'll see everything you've bookmarked

Thanks. Unfortunately I can't post any pictures because this is a new home being built and is still under construction. I have no photos to post yet. The builder asked me yesterday what I wanted to do regarding crown in the small powder room, but the walls are not even sheet rocked yet. They're in the process of ordering materials and he needed to know.

OK, that's a bit tricky. I might even if I were you post a picture of just about anything and then explain that that's not actually your house and it will still help a bit!
Even find a picture of a sad puppy or something with the caption "I don't have pics yet but I need help". Guaranteed you'll get some notice!

I'm using a computer. I don't have the app. It sounds like that would be a better thing for me.

There are disadvantages and advantages to each. And I would just go on Google and Google sad puppy and see what you can come up with for a picture
