Can the on off controls be mounted on a different wall than the spray?

I want to mount the on/off temperature controls on an entry wall which will be several feet from the location of the spray heads, shower spray and hand held. I am redoing my shower/bath for handicap accessible.

    It would be very difficult to do this, I would have a talk to a plumber to work this one out as i am sure it's possible.

    Thank you. I would like for you to pursue this with a plumber. I am trying to remodel my bathroom to make it handicap accessible and if someone in a wheelchair has to be under the shower to turn it on, that is a problem. This will be a large shower where you can wheel into it (hopefully turn on the shower) and when it is warm, then wheel under the shower sprays.

    It would depend on how your walls and pipes are located. You would need to speak with a plumber.
