What is the width of pool?

It appears the tanning ledge jets into main pool about 3 feet. What is the distance from edge of tanning ledge to back side of pool? Thanks!

    The tanning shelf is 8' x 23' with steps on one side and a swim out on the other. The pool is 40' x 23' at it's maximum points. Between the shelf and the opposite edge of the pool the width is 15'.

      Hi Doug,. That's correct 23' wide including the tanning shelf. The shelf is 8' wide.

      Hi Sarah, The tanning shelf area was 12" of water (15" from bottom of coping) & the body of the pool went 3' to 8' deep.
